Email the CNN Coordinating Centre with your research question for pre-screening and review. If the topic is approved, please proceed to “Submit Data” step.

Download the application for data use form (CNN or CPTBN/Other) and complete all required sections. Once finished, send all required documents to the CNN Coordinating Centre. This includes sending a complete and up-to-date protocol.

• Application for Access to CNN Data – from Industry
• Application for Access to CPTBN CNFUN Data

Once submitted, the application will undergo review and approval by the relevant committees. This typically takes 2-3 weeks. If you have not heard back from the CNN coordinating center within this time, please reach out.

Conduct protocol revisions/responses as advised by the relevant committee reviews. Once the protocol has been revised accordingly, proceed to “Local REB Approval” step.

Investigators are required to obtain local Research Ethics Board (REB) approval prior to any statistical analyses or results being released. Once received, please pass on the letter of approval and submitted protocol to the CNN Coordinating Centre.

Expected duration of data analysis is approximately 3-4 weeks, subject to statistician availability during peak periods and local REB approval.
