Dr. Stefania Ronzoni

Dr. Stefania Ronzoni is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Toronto and a Maternal–Fetal Medicine specialist at Mount Sinai Hospital. Her clinical and research work focuses on preterm birth, particularly PPROM, cervical insufficiency, and infection-related pathways. Dr. Ronzoni’s work also includes research on ultrasound protocols, particularly cervical length screening and early anatomy, and its impact on improving diagnostic accuracy. She has authored the first Canadian guidelines for the diagnosis and management of PPROM and continues to explore innovative treatments and preventive strategies for preterm birth.
